Chaney on the trail.

Tennessee’s Jim Chaney wasted no time getting on the trail today for his new team as he took a trip to nearby Knoxville Catholic to check in with top 50 Offensive Tackle Bryn Tucker. Bryn has a top 5 of Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Virginia Tech, and Notre Dame, but Clemson has been pushing for him as of late.

Bryn has been to campus several times including a trip to Neyland for the Kentucky game last year in a 24-7 victory for the Vols. Tennessee dominated from start to finish, and Bryn was quoted saying, “It was awesome to see the excitement in the fans.... Watching Tennessee get a huge win in Neyland Stadium was awesome to see.“

Bryn plans to make a decision sometime in June or July of the year prior to his senior year. Bryn did an interview with Matt Ray, (@_VR2_ on Twitter), of volrecrutingreports.org this morning, and said, “ Tennessee is recruiting me hard. They said I’m a huge priority for them, and I’m a definite get. They are definitely changing the culture and I’m happy to see it.”
